As an Application Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the proper functioning of applications used within the organization. Your goal will be to ensure that our applications runs smoothly and efficiently.  You will coordinate with the development team to identify their needs and work with network engineers and system administrators to design application server environments. You will be required to possess sound customer service and problem-solving skills.  Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.


  • Provide OpenPages configuration assistance as assigned by Client Application Development team
  • Work with IT and business leads to understand and build development requirements and similar business analysis tasks as assigned by Client Application Development team
  • Provide development support to the management of GRC related projects and scheduled releases at Client
  • Troubleshooting of Client reported issues related to developed/configured solutions
  • Advise on possible impacts and outcomes of changes made to the IBM OpenPages solution at Client
  • May need to travel to other Client locations as needed (primarily North American based)
  • Assist Client with regular application configuration release schedules
  • Train clients to effectively use the systems in place
  • Responsible for managing incoming tickets from clients to our internal ticketing system within the SLAs defined in the agreements with each client
  • Consultative work around deployments, releases, and maintenance of systems (internal and external) when appropriate
  • Participation on internal projects where required, ensuring that these projects do not interfere with the success of client requirements
  • Provide feedback to developers with client feedback, identifying potential new features or products
  • Obtain/maintain certification on most recent version of relevant platforms



  • Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven expertise as an Application Administrator or similar role
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience working with Application Support/Administration
  • Experience with GRC/ERM is required
